Culture & Place

I’m fascinated by how cities both feel constant and ever-changing and I love to capture the street scenes, parties, storefronts, and neighbourhoods that make them unique. This section collects digital and watercolour work that documents and celebrates place: commissioned pieces, personal projects, and everything in between that tries to freeze a moment in time without losing its narrative depth.

Play That Track DJ

A series of illustrations featuring scenes from queer parties in Toronto and Mexico City.

Lined Up

Two illustrations I drew as prints for Pride 2025 that showcase the line-ups for two popular gay bars in Toronto: Woody's and Black Eagle.

Queer Party Moments

Four illustrations that aimed to capture the spirit, joy, and sexiness of queer parties, which I drew as a series of limited signed and numbered prints for Pride 2024.

Purrfect Day

Mini comic commissioned by Italic Press for public display at 380 Adelaide Street in Toronto. 2023.

Street Scenes

Snapshots of city life from Mexico City and Toronto.

Hold Onto That Ticket

Often at the end of a party, the only photo on my phone is the one I took of my ticket or coat check number so I don’t lose it. I noticed others around me also doing this and so this ongoing series celebrates those tickets as remnants of the start of a night out, however hazy it might get from there.

Tacos and Beer

Drawings done in Mexico City, February 2024 and March 2025.
