Editorial
Editorial illustration is a collaboration. I love working closely with art directors to create visuals that deepen and add a unique twist to a piece of writing. I've worked with magazines and publications on everything from cover art to spot illustrations, bringing a visual voice to features, opinion pieces, and longform journalism in both print and digital.
TranceSky: Album Cover Art, 2026
Illustrated album art for TranceSky, a project that features three decades of Canadian trance and progressive artists. Album art included a candy-soaked fantasy rave version of Ottawa as well as depictions of Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver, Montreal, and Calgary through iconic buildings.
Spacing Magazine: Summer Reading Issue Cover, 2026
Working with publisher Matt Blackett, I illustrated the 2026 Summer Reading issue of Spacing Magazine--a publication that covers urbanism in Toronto. The cover depicts the iconic view of the city skyline from Riverdale Park East populated by elements from the stories within the issue.

Full page illustration as well as 12 spot illustrations overlaid on photographs to show new developments in Toronto. Brief was to create a fantasy mash-up neighbourhood that included new transit stations, parks, high-rises, and sixplexes. Art Director: Colleen Nicholson. October 2025.

Title image for Narwhal, an online Canadian environmental news publication. Brief was to illustrate a story on the Ontario government's work to speed up mining approvals by showcasing a line-up of miners, prospectors, and business people outside the Minister's office. Cover illustration for the Jan/Feb 2024 issue of This Magazine for a feature article on Toronto's Rwandan community building its own solution to the housing crisis.
The Globe and Mail, "Put On Notice"
Select illustrations from an ongoing series, Put on Notice, which aims to document a moment in time in Toronto's Church-Wellesley neighbourhood (aka the Gay Village) as new developments threaten to change the face of the community. Several illustrations and an essay written by me were published in The Globe and Mail, July 2024.

A selection of personal editorial illustrations that respond to stories in the news, including the Ontario government's removal of Toronto's green roof by-law, the slow start opening of the Finch West LRT, Toronto's rampant condo development (drawn at Christmas), Toronto City Council's vote on neighbourhood corner stores, Toronto City Council's vote on allowing sixplexes in neighbourhoods, Spring bingo, and a call to vote during an Ontario provincial election.
